Laura Johnson 2024
Laura Johnson Laura grew up in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She spent most of her childhood in the church and on a dance floor, starting dancing at the young age of 6 years old.
Laura attended Langston University where she studied Early Childhood Development. She enlisted into the Oklahoma National Guard where she served 5 years as a Signal Support Systems Specialist until she was honorably discharged due to injury. She is the first in her family to enlist and serve our country. She is now a cheer coach at a local high school where she uses her position to empower the team. She practices an open-door policy which allows the team to give each other positive feedback for the betterment of the program and plans to expand the program with using her platform as the motivation to start the self-work.
Laura’s mission is to empower women of all ages by giving them the tools they need to be confident. Confidence in HER CHOICES, HER COMMUNITY, HER Journey, and HER SPIRITUALLY. She believes all women can set the foundation or rebuild the foundation of self-confidence. Her program, 'Project HERway' offers monthly gatherings, social media tips as well as confidence building sessions that focus on all of these things.
